Production

We produce both ald paper notes and new polymer ones!

After the notes are printed and cut, they are aged using our special process. They are first tumbled in dark denim for around 10 hours before being removed. This crumples the notes and gives the effect of ageing in a wallet, purse or jeans. After that, they are put into a custom tumbler (basically a tumble dryer stripped down) which is in a false atmosphere. This atmosphere is very rich (about 1%) in gaseous natural oils. This gives used notes their worn colour and will also replicate the transfer of money from hand to hand. This process takes about 5 days to complete. Finally, the notes are flattened and some will have writing on, not many, but a few and then some have the corners folded too. This gives a very authentic look to the notes.

We began back in 2012, printing our notes on home printers, which wasn't very good. So we invested in an industrial print press (which was supplied by a friend in the print business). Through the last three years we’ve been gradually improving our services until now, where we believe we have reached the pinnacle of quality. We used to only use the money for personal usage and for face to face deals. Now, we stock money for small newsagents and takeaways throughout the UK, printing approximately £60,000 per week. We have recently invested in another printer and will be set to increase our production throughout the year to around £130,000 per week.
